Touring in Gilgit-Baltistan requires flexibility. We reserve the right to modify or cancel itineraries due to factors beyond our control, which are common in this region:
This includes, but is not limited to: road blockages due to landslides (e.g., on the Karakoram Highway), severe weather conditions (snow, heavy rain), flash floods, political instability, government travel advisories, or sudden closure of passes (e.g., Babusar Top, Khunjerab Pass).
Domestic flights to Skardu and Gilgit are frequently cancelled due to weather. In such cases, we will arrange alternative road transport. The additional time and cost (if any) for the road journey will be the responsibility of the client.
We will make every effort to provide a suitable alternative of similar standard for any minor change (e.g., change in hotel to one of equivalent standard).
If a change (e.g., closure of a key attraction) fundamentally alters the tour, you may accept the change, receive a credit for a future tour, or cancel for a refund proportional to the unused services.
We reserve the right to cancel a tour prior to departure for safety reasons (e.g., imminent natural disaster, government closure). In this event, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to us.
Pakistani citizens must carry a valid CNIC. International visitors must have a valid passport, visa, and No Objection Certificate (NOC) for restricted zones if required.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. Your policy must cover high-altitude trekking (if applicable), emergency helicopter evacuation, trip cancellation, medical expenses, and repatriation.
You confirm you are in good health and have a sufficient level of fitness for high-altitude travel. You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We recommend consulting a physician before travel, especially regarding Altitude Sickness.
You agree to behave respectfully towards local cultures, traditions, and the fragile environment. We may terminate your tour, without refund, for behavior that endangers yourself, the group, or is disruptive.
You acknowledge that travel in Gilgit-Baltistan involves inherent risks including, but not limited to: accidents in remote areas with limited medical facilities, unpredictable weather, and rugged terrain. By booking this tour, you voluntarily assume all these risks.
